WHY SUBSCRIBE TO A PREP SERVICE?

One of the biggest challenges for on-air
personalities is finding time to prep a show. How do I know this?
I was an on-air personality for 18 years. When I started in radio,
I was young and dumb (I knew nothing about the business). I quickly
realized how much work it was going to take to achieve success as a
personality. I tried to learn as much as possible. I was a
sponge. When I landed my first morning show position, my life got
really hectic. Everybody wanted a chunk of my time. Of course, I
said “yes” to everyone. I hosted parades, beauty pageants, county
fair events, Easter Seals telethons, Fourth of July events, etc. On top
of that, I had remote broadcasts on weekends. I found myself
working non-stop. Being a dedicated morning personality is
extremely time-consuming. That’s where The Morning Skoop comes
into play. We are here to make your hectic life easier. You might
be a prep monster. You might be really great at prepping your
show. THAT’S AWESOME! If you’re really doing your job, you’re not
going to have a lot of time prepping your show. A great on-air
personality is always going to be out doing something
radio-related. That’s just how it is. If you have time on
your hands, something's wrong. We are in business for a few reasons: |
#1: To make
your life easier. While you’re busy doing all the things you
should be doing, we're busy prepping your show. When you show up
the next day for your morning show, you’ll be prepared. You won’t
have to scramble for “stuff.” #2: To provide the most entertaining prep and audio for your show. We know what listeners want. We know what’s entertaining. #3: To help you win the ratings game. Can you get away with doing a morning show without the use of a prep service? Sure! Can you be really successful without the use of a great prep service? Maybe — if you’re lucky. Do you want to gamble with your career? That’s what you’re doing when you don’t have all the tools necessary for a successful show. You're probably asking yourself, "Can I afford a prep service?" Let me just say that most great prep services aren't unreasonable when it comes to subscription terms. You have to determine if the prep service adds value to your show. If it does, then it's time to talk to management about a subscription. |
| How many times have you listened to a morning
show and heard nothing but rambling? Why does this happen?
There are a few reasons: the morning personalities aren't
experienced and they don't know better; they don't have access to
the tools necessary for a winning show; they're lazy and don't want
to put much effort into their show; they didn't have enough time to
prep their show. Again, that's where we come in. There's
absolutely no reason why your show should suffer. Am I trying
to sell you on The Morning Skoop? Absolutely! I know
what our service can do for your show. If you're ready to take
your show to a new level, request a free trial today and get ready
for "REAL MORNING RADIO" content.
