ABOUT THE MORNING SKOOP

When we launched The Morning Skoop, we had a great idea.  Instead of bringing you another prep site pulling together the latest stories from the Web, we wanted to give you something great.  We wanted to use our experience in radio to deliver the best, most entertaining content.     The Morning Skoop provides show prep and audio to radio stations around the world.  With our state-of-the- art studios, there’s not an audio job we can’t handle.  As for prep, we cover it all.  Our daily prep reports are between 40 and 50 pages.

THE MORNING SKOOP TEAM

The Morning Skoop is comprised of a team of radio pros, headed by radio veteran Steven Dee.  Steven and his team are dedicated to delivering nothing but the best, when it comes to prep and audio; quality is a must.  Steven, who has been in radio for 28 years, knows how to deliver a stand-out morning show; his on-air stunts have been reported on by CNN, NBC Nightly News, Advertising Age magazine, and Time for Kids magazine.  Steven received the Best Entertainment Program award from the Colorado Broadcasters Association.  Besides running The Morning Skoop, Steven spends a lot of time doing voice over work for TV and radio stations.    Steven Dee is featured in the book “Radio Pro,” by legend Joe Martelle.  Joe asked Steven to write an entire section about radio show prep.  Martelle, who is now retired, is a former subscriber of The Morning Skoop.  Ironically, when Joe retired, he moved to Colorado - not far from The Morning Skoop office.  Steven and Joe became good friends and often have lunch.  If you love radio, you’ll love “Radio Pro.”  In the book, Joe brings together a richly-varied selection of candid comments on the subject from over 150 of America’s best broadcasters, seasoned pros, who tell it like it is and what it takes to be a successful air and on-line personality. Containing 736 pages with hundreds of photos, Radio Pro is enlightening, informative and thought provoking for both the radio student and those interested in personality radio.

WE’LL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES

We welcome hard work and long hours.  We’re not afraid to go the extra distance.  We’re always available to our affiliates.  If it’s a Saturday afternoon and a client needs something, we’re available by phone and e-mail.  In fact, Steven has even stopped his golf game to take business calls.
